Weird means something or some behavior(举动) is very strange, which makes you feel uneasy(不安闲的). It has a totally negative connotation(隐含义义). Only can be used when something really shocked you or made you very uncomfortable(不惬意的).

Example:

That guy weird behaviors, acts like he is from other plants.

Strange means something or some behavior is unusual(不寻常的). Can mean weird, not familiar to you. It is not as negative as weird, but still shows negative connotation.

Example:

He spoke some strange words, and we can’t understand why he said in that way.

Odd means something or some behavior is just out of the ordinary(寻常的、天然的). A weaker form of strange and weird. Something that is not normal, but not as strong as Weird and Strange.

Example:

The data looks odd, it is out of our expectation, and we can’t explain it.

Awkward means some behavior is not only odd but also embarrassing(为难的). It is usually used in a situation where something happened and nobody wants to talk about it.

Example:

It is awkward and I don’t know how I should say, but can you lend me some money?
